Cabernet Barrel Aged – Volkssekt – Berliner Weisse: We took our award winning Berliner Weisse and aged it in Cabernet Barrels for 4 months to add a layer of complexity to this traditional German Sour Wheat beer. Volkssekt (“The Peoples Champagne”) was brewed with 50% German Pilsner Malt, 50% German Malted Wheat, gently hopped with the German Noble Hop variety Hallertau and soured with Lactobacillus. The result is a light beer with very little bitterness, a clean citrus-like tartness, and a refreshing yet soft finish. This is a true German “Session Beer”. Prost! ABV: 6.8%
RAVEN – Bourbon Barrel Aged Baltic Porter: Deep, dark, brown in color with a mocha head, this Baltic Porter has a flavor reminiscent of chocolate, toffee, and coffee, with hints of raisins and vanilla. After aging in stainless steel for 6 months this bad boy spent 2 full years in a Oregon Spirits, C.W. Irwin Bourbon Barrel to add a little attitude. ABV: 10% | IBU’s: 30
